5.1 AI Service ProvidersTo provide cosmetic analysis, SKYNN may transmit uploaded images to trusted third-party AI providers for processing. 6.1 Public Nature of Community ContentThe community is a user-driven feature. Anything you post may be visible to other users. Do not post sensitive personal information (for example: medical diagnoses, addresses, phone numbers, financial details).6.2 No Professional AdviceCommunity content is not verified for accuracy and does not represent SKYNN’s views. You agree that:You will not treat community content as medical, dermatological, legal, or professional advice.Any reliance on community content is at your own risk.6.3 No Duty to Monitor; Moderation DiscretionWe may (but are not required to) review, remove, restrict, or disable access to community content at any time for any reason, including to enforce our rules or comply with law. We have no obligation to monitor or pre-screen content, and we do not guarantee removal of any specific content.6.4 User Responsibility and Liability AllocationUsers are solely responsible for the content they submit. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SKYNN is not liable for user-generated content or for harm arising from community interactions.(US users: this aligns with common platform liability protections for third-party content.)6.5 Reporting and NoticeWe may provide in-app mechanisms to report content. If you believe content violates law or our rules, report it. We may act on reports at our discretion.(For EU users, a reporting/notice mechanism also supports DSA-style expectations for illegal content handling where applicable.)7) Cosmetic-Only Service DisclaimerSKYNN provides cosmetic and educational information. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment advice. To deliver these features, certain data is processed by our AI service provider.Skin Analysis: When you use the skin scan feature, the photo you capture or upload is securely transmitted to OpenAI, our AI service provider, via encrypted connection. OpenAI processes the image to generate your skin analysis and may retain the data for up to 30 days for safety and abuse monitoring purposes, after which it is deleted. OpenAI does not use your data for model training. We do not use your photos for advertising, marketing, user profiling, or any purpose other than providing your skin analysis results.AI Skin Coach: When you interact with the AI Skin Coach, your messages and relevant conversation history are transmitted to OpenAI for processing. The same retention and usage terms apply as described above for skin analysis.Face Data: Photos analyzed through our skin scan feature may contain face data as defined by Apple's developer guidelines. This face data is used solely to provide skin analysis and is never used for facial recognition, advertising, user profiling, or tracking. Face data is transmitted off your device only with your explicit consent (provided when you first use the skin scan feature) and only for the purpose of generating your skin analysis.We do not sell, share, or transfer your photos, face data, or AI conversation data to advertising platforms, data brokers, analytics providers, or information resellers.Third-Party ServicesSKYNN uses the following third-party services that may process your data:OpenAI (AI Processing): Processes skin scan photos and AI Coach conversations. Data may be retained for up to 30 days for safety monitoring. OpenAI does not use API customer data for model training. The AI features are not medical devices and do not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or dermatological assessments.The AI analysis and coaching features are powered by third-party artificial intelligence technology. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated results may not always be correct or complete. Results may vary based on photo quality, lighting, and other factors.SKYNN is not a substitute for professional dermatological care. If you have concerns about your skin health, please consult a qualified healthcare provider or dermatologist.By using SKYNN's AI features, you acknowledge that: (1) skin analysis results are AI-generated and not medical diagnoses; (2) product recommendations are suggestions based on AI analysis and may not be suitable for all skin types; (3) you use the AI features at your own risk and discretion.15. Changes to TermsWe may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted in the app with a revised effective date.
